Webinar: Healing Families in Dementia: Managing Guilt, Denial and Grief.

  • 1 min read

Description

Managing a loved one with dementia involves navigating a complex journey of grief, caregiving, and relationship shifts. Grief and guilt are most notable in family members of people with dementia, as dementia causes their loved one to change personality and behavior while still physically present. These feelings can create distance between the very people who need each other most.

It’s time to heal.

Join us for a powerful 60-minute session where we address the emotional "elephant in the room." At the end of training, you will be able to:

  • Understand the psychological changes in family caregivers along the disease progression.

  • Learn the pathways to healing and connections.

  • Recognize the available resources when family dynamics need professional help.

An e-certificate and 2 CPD points will be awarded at the end of the training session.

Targeted participants:

Family members/caregivers of people living with dementia, nurses/healthcare personnel working with older persons in acute/long term care institutes, healthcare managements, students, people living with dementia, anyone interested.
